alfstonker
No way Hamhuis is out unless injured. I would rather have Vey than Cracknell.

Rollieo Del Fuego
yes. if you look at the game coming up vs. Calgary and click on "line-up" - that's what you'll see. They won't update the lineup page until the final cuts are made, that was last nights lineup.
King Heffy
Sedin-Sedin-Burrows Baertschi-Horvat-Virtanen Vrbata-McCann-Dorsett Prust-Sutter-Hansen Cracknell Edler-Tanev Hamhuis-Sbisa Hutton-Bartkowski Corrado Biega Please, no Vey or Weber. -Vintage Canuck-
yes. if you look at the game coming up vs. Calgary and click on "line-up" - that's what you'll see. Yeah, it's misleading. Those lines are from last game. The line-up posted on the Canucks main homepage is usually updated on game day.

Rollieo Del Fuego
As of now. Sedin-Sedin-Sutter Baertschi-Horvat-Vrbata Burrows-McCann- Hansen Prust-Cracknell-Virtanen Dorsett Vey Edler-Tanev Hamhuis-Bartkowski Hutton-Sbisa Weber Corrado Beiga Wonder whom gets sent down/cut I am still thinking (from a couple days ago) Sedin-Sedin-Vrbata Baertschi-Horvat-Virtanen Burrows-McCann- Vey or Hansen Prust-Sutter-Dorset or Hansen Dorsett or vey Edler-Tanev Hamhuis-Bartkowski Hutton-Sbisa Weber Corrado kept up until Higgins returns Beiga sent down That leaves 13 forwards and 8 D. until Hammer gets back and Cracknell and Biega sent down. If Hammer doesn't make it to the LTIL with his injury we will have to send Corrado down as well.

Mustapha
I am still thinking (from a couple days ago) Sedin-Sedin-Vrbata Baertschi-Horvat-Virtanen Burrows-McCann- Vey or Hansen Prust-Sutter-Dorset or Hansen Dorsett or vey Edler-Tanev Hamhuis-Bartkowski Hutton-Sbisa Weber Corrado kept up until Higgins returns Beiga sent down That leaves 13 forwards and 8 D. until Hammer gets back and Cracknell and Biega sent down. If Hammer doesn't make it to the LTIL with his injury we will have to send Corrado down as well. Wait...I am confused. Why keep Corrado up until Higgins returns? Corrado isn't a forward. Did you mean Hamhuis? I didn't know Hamhuis was injured. Is Hamhuis injured?
2009cupchamps
The way I see it after Hutton is sent down so Higgins can be put on long term disability so Hutton can be brought up. Begs and Cracknell sent down. Sedin Sedin Burrows Beartchi Horvat Vrbatta Virtanen Sutter Hansen Prust McCann Dorsett Vey Edler Tanev Hamhius Bartoski/Weber Sibsa Hutton Corrado Weber/Bartoski Virtanen and McCann will get their 9 games. When Higgins comes back I expect McCann to go down. I also wouldn't be surprised if Hutton starts the year in Utica
Canucks-12
Wait...I am confused. Why keep Corrado up until Higgins returns? Corrado isn't a forward. Did you mean Hamhuis? I didn't know Hamhuis was injured. Is Hamhuis injured? LOL! Corrado doesn't have to be a forward. We need either 14 F and 7 D or 13 F and 8 D That's up to the Canucks. Jack Fig
I don't think the lineups on opening night are all that important, because like every year, they'll be some jockeying for a few weeks until things settle down. If the Canucks keep both Virt and McCann for 9 games, things are even more convoluted. The first several weeks appear to be just a continuation of pre-season and that's okay.
