Mackcanuck
http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=796248 The Pacific Division, coached by Darryl Sutter of the Kings, also has a good mix of youth and veterans among its forward. John Scott of the Arizona Coyotes, voted in by the fans, leads the veteran contingent, joined by Daniel Sedin of the Vancouver Canucks, Anaheim's Corey Perry andJoe Pavelski of the San Jose Sharks. Johnny Gaudreau of the Calgary Flames and Taylor Hall of theEdmonton Oilers represent the youth movement. The Pacific Division has a mobile and skilled defense corps, led by Drew Doughty of the Los Angeles Kings, who averages 27:56 per game. He is joined Brent Burns of the San Jose Sharks, No. 2 in average time on ice in the division and Mark Giordano of the Calgary Flames, No. 6 in that category. The goalies for the Pacific Division are Jonathan Quick of the Los Angeles Kings and John Gibson of the Anaheim Ducks. Quick leads the division with 22 wins and Gibson, in a platoon situation in Anaheim, has a .932 save percentage in 15 appearances

I'm sure he's excited about being 'led' by the great one John Scott. I mean, what an opportunity for Danny to be a linemate of a hockey player that plays the game the way it should be. smokes
With how much Sutter hates the Sedins' this should be interesting.
Conscience
Well ya every team has to be represented. It's hard for more than one player to make it.

Sutter will probably have Doughty throw a flying elbow into Daniels face in the first 30 seconds of practice!

Byfuglien has been so vocal about his dislike of 3v3 but I guess if they took Wheeler it would mean no Toews but that would have allowed to add Klingberg. This isn't the NBA, where the fans actually care about picking their favourite and best players to represent the conference , and these titles have actual worth on a player's resume. Question: Would any other pro league have allowed John Scott to be in the all-star game? Maybe pro wrestling? A lot of sentiment is that this silly-ass move might have killed the all-star game for good, all because they were being trolled.
Down by the River
The real question is whether Daniel will continue his strategy of playing OT to get to the shootout.
