Visp
James MirtleVerified account @mirtle Cody Hodgson and Guenin on waivers today. Thomas Drance @ThomasDrance It'll take years to evaluate which team won the trade! *Hodgson on waivers the same day Zack Kassian recalled three years on* Jeff Paterson @patersonjeff Oilers need to claim Cody Hodgson and play him with Zack Kassian. Only possible outcome that makes sense at this point
HC20.0
Hodgson might be done in the NHL now. Kind of sad. So much skill, just couldn't translate. Reminds me of Sam Ganger.
Monty
Guenin has done nothing this season, so that's not surprising. Hodgson is no longer needed after Johansen getting scooped up, so also not a surprise.
The Weasel
hahaha. This is what Hodgson and his dad get for being divas.

His issue is that he just doesn't have the foot speed to keep up.
Profanity
From future captain of Canucks to waiver material in a matter of few years. Life plays a mean joke every once in a while.

Still getting paid, even if he stops working, and more than most of us will make in our lifetimes.

That someone was Hodgson as he was the most expendable. Therefore, not surprising.
TheRick
Well Columbus do need a Centreman after trading Johansen. Thing is, I don't believe Hodgson will be able to survive Torts!

Hoosierdaddy
I really thought Hodgson was going to be a solid NHL'r. I'm mind blown how far he's fallen off.

Heretic
Are the Canucks allowed to claim him without compensation? Just wondering, if a team trades a player, if there are any rules for claiming him off of waivers at a later date...though it's been a long time since that trade... I'm pretty sure they are, but Benning would never do that. He'd take Kassian back before Hodgson.
