at least the Canucks have proven that they can be a competitive, winning team when they are healthy. There is still hope ahead.

Vancouver has always been good and competitive when healthy.  Which is almost never.  Our luck was bound to dry up.

It has been a running gag since Sami Salo that the Canucks are never healthy.  If anything we can always expect the team to get gutted through injuries... and to lose lottery drafts.

Stealth Tank for Dalhin!!!!

This is how you Tank without tanking.

If we had a legit shot, maybe some of these injuries get played thru, but with two thirds of our top line out and our shut down center and our two best shut down d men out..

time to make ready for the draft and move some players for picks and prospects.  Sign Taveres, draft Dalhin and que the finished rebuild.

EmW

M.A.S.H.tank.  Three straight years of man-games-lost nightmares - legit high picks.

Tanev possibly a late 1st rounder although his injury history may hamper that one,  but no way does Edler get anywhere close to a 1st rounder at this point in his career. Id take a 2nd and run if it were even a possibility.

It might be surprising to hear but IMO Edler might hold more value to an acquiring team than Tanev. Of course it depends on the acquiring team and their d-core mix. What I like about Edler is his physicality under the right situation and his ability to play offence. All considered with an experienced d-core Edler would be my choice over Tanev.
