At least they won't be alone - will have a fairly good chance of buying it back in the UFA or trade market....but it has the optics of 'lost homegrown picks'... A good player if he could ever get lucky enough to remain healthy. Solid low risk for the Devils to take imo - it seems to be a trend among the weaker teams thus far - of taking on deflated player values as opposed to picks for cap dumps.... I feel like he's worth more. one might think - but it's a real tight market to move cap - and Murray has been injured so often, including this past season where he played only 27 games....
