If Miller is out, Jake slots in as RW on the first line, and Boeser slide to LW (I think that’s how they practiced, anyway), and MacEwen takes Jake’s spot with Gaudette.

I’d like to see the new Defence put a blanket on the first couple games with JT out of the lineup. Play a defensive game and smother them. Let the Oilers make mistakes and capitalize with odd man rushes. Excited to see Schmidt get the McDavid assignment and see how he fares as he is an unbelievable skater as well.

Interested to see how Pearson Horvat Hogs line does, along with Hughes and Hamonic pairing.

Big test for Holtby and our new defence straight away and you know McDavid is going to be thirsty. 

Do we know if JT Miller is with the team (Sekeres said he had Covid concerns and would be out for 2 weeks?)

Let's see what Hoglander can do with a rubbish defence.

Starting the season with bit of test on depth. I think they will be competitive. 

 

All games are essentially 4 pt games. I like these back to back vs the same team, kinda like baseball mini series. Nux need to stay 500 on the road series vs each team.
