but there are people who do pretend to be girls online, in fact lots of people do this and without some kind of media proof of someone not being a dude online my default is that everyone is a dude online.


The offence Alison took is all the proof I need that they fall into this category, the lady doth protest too much. It was initially a joke but it hit so home with Alison that there is no doubt in my mind this is the case.

 

As for you BK you would be much better off getting tinder, plenty of fish or even match because it feels like you are hoping to score with this Alison and trust me you don’t want to go there, I am more certain of this than my 3/19 12c in AMC printing this Friday.

Aladeen. Dude. Stop please. You have a tendency, outside of Mafia, to tunnel into your worldview and stubbornly insist on being correct. You're doing that here. You seem to be putting the blame on Alison and not accepting any of your own.

 

I agree that your initial comment was not coming from a place of transphobia. I don't think you're transphobic, and I think Alison maybe misinterpreted that.

 

But you also seem to be ignoring that it was your comments that started the problem in the first place. I get that you have an immediate distrust of anyone associated with hoggers and his crew. I don't blame you for that; I'm not a fan of them either. Alison knows them, but is not one of them. Your immediate assumption otherwise was out of line, and your subsequent questioning of her gender online was just...out of left field. I don't know why you decided to go there, but it felt to me like a deliberate attempt to provoke her in a way that was uncalled for.

 

Alison is a really cool person who I've played with, chatted with, and generally just known for quite some time now. I've previously invited her to come place with us and I was so happy she finally did. I'm actually really upset that now she immediately has been made to feel unwelcome.
