Here's the thing for me.

 

If you have a favourite restaurant but they get a new manager and, over time, things go downhill in your opinion....overpriced, quality is diminishing, changing the dishes to new ones.  You no longer like it.  

 

Do you keep going back and yelling and screaming?  Or...do you look for another option?   Because, over time, it just ruins the experience for others if you don't.  Not everyone may agree with you and your tastes.

Depends if I’ve invested 30+ years supporting them and a failure for a manager is ruining it I suppose I’d voice my displeasure and I’d continue to voice it.  While minimizing financial support.

and posting the managers quotes/excuses  to the discussion forum related to that restaurant.

I know I am pretty stoked to see what kind of team the Kraken build. The Canucks will always be my #1 team but honestly with nothing changing in management or coaching and limited opportunity to change the roster, its hard to stay engaged with this plan. I dont care if they end up dead last. I just dpnt want to watch them play the same boring, predictable hockey for another year.

 

And I dont want to hear all the excuses that will get served up by Benning.

It also ruins the restaurant if you don't support it.

The whole point of this forum is to discuss the team. It is kind of weak to say that people who complain should leave. Maybe the people who dont like the direction of the team or the management/coaching of it have just as much right to voice that here.

 

Maybe they find people who endlessly cheerlead for Benning, Green, etc equally annoying in their praise.

 

Complaining for the sake of it is not productive. But neither is being a constant apologist that doesnt recognize there are significant issues with the team.

 

And whether you are one spectrum or the other, everyone should have the same right to voice their opinion. 

 

Sorry, off the soapbox now. It just irritates me to hear the constant "if you dont like it then &^@# off you arent welcome here" argument.
