If Hamonic bails and Sutter is out for awhile.  I would like to see them give Anisimov, Sceviour, or Eric Staal a long look and take the best fit to give us more center depth and some leadership. Also bring in Demers for a PTO asap.

Staal would be great, think I read he only wants to play in the US tho? His family is in Minnesota I believe

Just because I'm a Canuck fanatic, stoked about the news on the signings of 40 and 43 and like to do up the lines like a wannabe coach.  Running 4 lines, great mix of talent, size, speed and grit. Use the first quarter of the season to further develop our younger players and turn them into bonafide nhl assets.

Pearson   Horvat   Garland - 2 way play against other teams top lines
Hoglander  Pettersson  Boeser - dominate against other teams 2nd lines
Gadjovich  Miller  Podkolzin - physical play against any line
Highmore  Dickenson  Lockwood - defend with speed

IR :  Motte, Sutter, Ferland, ______

extra fwd :   Di Guiseppe

OEL  Hughes
Rathbone  Poolman
Juolevi  Myers

Hunt   Schenn

Demko, Halak

pk fwd :  Dickenson, Highmore, Lockwood, Podkolzin, Pearson, Miller, Horvat
pk d :  Juolevi, Myers, OEL Poolman

pp1 :   Hoglander   Horvat   Pettersson
               Boeser   Hughes

pp2 :    Miller   Gadjovich   Podkolzin
                OEL    Rathbone

Now I am getting really exited about this upcoming season.

The off- season was very good for Canucks with all signings and roster moves, but as a very long (30 years) Canuck fan, I am always expecting that something will go wrong (please, don’t give me a hard time for that, I am just sharing my feeling with fellow fans).

And when these negotiations with #40 and 43 were dragging like forever, the sky really started falling down for me.

But now it is all behind and we do have a very competitive roster.

I think Canucks have a good chance to make playoffs. It is just how I feel without really analyzing the roster spot by spot.

GCG!!!

Yes to Sceviour!! He's tough and perfect for the 4C role...  As per E. Staal, reports say he wanna stay in US...

Hogz - Petey - Podz

Garland - Miller - Boeser

Pearson - Horvat - Chiasson

DG - Dickinson- Gadjovich

Petey needs a little more muscle on his line.

He needs muscle so you take off Miller?

Miller - Petey - Boes

Podz - Hor - Gar

Pear - Dickinson - Hogz

Gadj - Wouster - Lockwood?

Really think Green wants Miller at center.

He’s been keeping him there all training camp and I don’t think it’s just cause Petey is missing. Petan seems to be filling that role.

I think we’ll end up seeing:

Podkolzin Pettersson Boeser

Pearson Horvat Hoglander

Chiasson Miller Garland

Gadjovich Dickinson Lockwood/Highmore

Pretty decent team when Connor Garland cant even make it into the second power play

You might be right. However, I think he was also preparing for a start to the season without Petey or Hughes.

My opinion you should not break up the lotto line. Also, Podz has been a little bit like a deer in headlights in the two preseason games with flashes of ooo. I would say play Podz lower until we see more ooo and less deer.
