Petey needs someone working close with him with constant give and goes offensive triangles. He had that chemistry with JT but it's not there right now. Partly on EP, partly on JT imho. Leave those two together and they will figure it out.

I agree they are too spread out

The defense looks good. Glad to see Burroughs and Hunt as extras. Schenn-Hamonic is a solid pairing, both literally and figuratively. Who comes out when Motte goes in? Does Green dare to sit Chiasson?

He should, but he won't <_<

Well when Motte and Sutter are good to go (who knows about Sutter), two of the guys on the fourth line will need to sit. And neither of them should be Justin Bailey.

He was good before he got injured, and picked up right where he left off. Chiasson and Lammikko should sit for sure.

Bailey-Lammikko-Motte would be a good 4th line when Motte is back.

No reason to keep Chiasson in the lineup at that point. It’s not like they don’t have enough PP options. All 3 of those 4th liners should be able to PK.

I don't think anyone on the team has a net front presence like Chiasson. That guy is gifted.............a spot on the roster.

If Chiasson wasn’t good for the Oilers bottom 6. He shouldn’t be good for ours. We have options for the front of the net PP. Pearson, Horvat even Podkolzin

I think Horvat might be the best net front guy we have. Would love to see Podkolzin get a shot playing that role to see if he can carve out a PP role.

Fingers crossed we get out of this slump tonight, otherwise these lost points will come back to haunt us at seasons end.  At least the team showed a lot more cohesion on Saturday during the Oilers game - despite the loss, so if they can keep that momentum going they should be able to beat the Rangers. Fingers crossed!
