We weren't ridiculously bad on special teams either though. According to expected goals we had a much more potent pp than the Rangers. The one pp goal by the rangers was a complete fluke off the stick. The second was the only high danger scoring chance the Canucks allowed on their PK outside of the Demko sequence. Take out that one sprawling sequence by Demko, we had a higher expected goals on our last power play alone than the Rangers had on their first 4 power plays combined. People saying he doesn't want to be here, etc. You need a guy who wears it on his sleeve. Because even IF he mopes at times, he JUST WANTS TO WIN and he means it. And you just got a taste of that. Miller reminds me a lot of Kesler. And thats meant as a compliment. I loved Kesler. 4 4 3

Miller had the two goals, but didn't look so well otherwise. Petey looked a bit improved & had some good defensive plays. Schenn seems like the only player that knows how to clear the puck. Schenn and Hamonic looked solid out there 1 6

Green just now during his post game presser complimenting Podz on how well he played. Said he was great. The minutes will come. 2

The Canucks would have been a better team so far with him watching from the press box. Have a look at what the sedins and naslund were producing at his age. That would be a fairer comparison. Also at his age they were never tasked with being the primary offensive threat on a first line. 1
Popular Post Ghostsof1915
Hamonic may not have gotten any points. But played 16:56 in the game. And was a steadying influence. Welcome back Travis. 12 3
