Miller is on a different timeline than the Devils, he can get to a team that’s looking to win, and the Devils seem better suited to keep the assets involved. It seems like a combination of Alex Holtz and Juraj Slafkovsky would be better to eventually get the Devils a Stanley Cup than Miller would. With some smart folks like myself saying to hold your horses and pointing out what JT Miller brings is tough to find. Anyway, I still hope he stays but to play along with the thread theme for the first time...getting the 2OA + would be a hell of a great return. Nobody's saying he can't provide leadership, or that he's not a high quality player, but some of the mythology I've seen built up in relation to him borders on the absurd.
