Wow… That’s pretty damn amazing when you look at the other names in that list.

I understand the pressure of whether he will re-sign here, but with numbers like that how could you trade him?

The Canucks need to do everything in their power to sell him on the future of this team and get him signed.

We’ve got a way better shot of resigning him now that we have Boudreau behind the bench.

It does, but what do you think Miller will be looking for on his next contract?  My guess is $9m

Probably 8 I think but we’ll get there when we get there. Shouldn’t even be discussed until where we figure out where this team is come the deadline. If we are in the mix for the playoff Jim would be off his rocker if he’s trading him

Well, they won't be able to keep everyone and isn't the biggest complaint about JB is he let guys walk?  Miller is the most valuable chip they have to play

This. And all that talk was back when Green was still coaching. It's a safe assumption that Miller would not have resigned under those circumstances . But now, who knows?

Anyone who says Miller should be traded is a completely ignorant fool. This guy is our best player and MVP. He has been fantastic from the moment he got here.

If we get jammed up for salary cap issues in the future and have no choice but trade, then it is anyone not named  Hughes, Miller or Demko.

Perhaps there was something about Schmidt's abrupt departure from the team that had something to do with Baumgartner and TG?

Let's face it: few players actually flourished under TG. They just did well DESPITE TG and his staff's inept coaching.
