Popular Post OldFaithfulCap
Game info TV: Hockey night in Canada -CBC Radio: Sportsnet 650 Overview Twenty games gone this season and things feel more hopeful for the Canucks. Winning 3 out of the last 5, including 2 wins over current playoff teams in Colorado and LA has the Canucks looking up but then there are 12 teams ahead of them in the West. Since the 2000-01 season the Canucks have made the playoffs only twice with less than 10 wins in their first 20 games. The last time that happened was back in 2006-07 when the idea of a hockey team in Las Vegas would get you a concussion test. Still records are made to be broken and in an under-performing western conference they are still only 3 points out of the last wild card position. Vancouver comes off one of it's best games of the season, with scoring contributions from their top 3 lines and the blueline, an imperfect but willing penalty kill as well as some Martin magic to hold the Avs out.The Canucks have iced the same lineup very few times this season but there's a good chance that will be the case tonight including in net where Martin is expected to start. For the Golden Knights, their last game was their first ever loss to the Kraken, and their line mixing failed to engineer a second comeback and more than 22 shots in that game. The Canucks should face a fired up Vegas and will face Logan Thompson tonight after Hill took the loss last night - though the Canucks did manage to get 4 past him in their last meeting. The Canucks showed their dangerous unpredictability last game; they showed Vegas their offensive firepower the game before. For Vancouver to start moving up the standings they will need both and the grit that Luke Schenn talked about and that players like Dries, Bear and Burroughs have added to the team when in the lineup. Time for the canucks to start making winning a habit, and 21 is always a great number in Vegas. Fanuck
Shut down Eichel's line, stay out of the box, and keep Vegas' SOG down and we'll be in this game.

Goal:thecup
Hope they have to wear those stupid gold helmets; makes them look like kids' toys: I'd like to see someone pop one off! This is how you do it: Slip slidin' away.

Popular Post HKSR
Podz in the press box is such a waste of his development. Send him or Hogs down already. Geez... 1 3
Ghostsof1915
Expect the unexpected. I can't begin to figure this team out. 1
Nucker 67
Is this Kuzmenko's first time in Vegas? So fun. But back to hockey. Who's going to clear the crease when Schenn is on the bench? Canucks could be reminded again why they need upgraded D. Back to reality I think.
DownUndaCanuck
Martin surely has to start. Burroughs and Myers on the bottom pairing. Keep our forwards the same as last game. Special teams decides this game, bad PKs out there. If Petey can get lined up and try and shut down Eichel we may have a chance. Vegas coming off a loss last night against Seattle, you know they'll come out hard and fast. We should try and hang in there and wear them down over the game, then hope our PP can steal a goal or two later in the game. 4-3 Canucks in OT

Dekey Pete
Las Vegas Kings. Took me too long to figure out why that sounded weird.
Petey Castiglione
Game day! I'll always cheer for a win but still firmly believe this season is done. Trader Miller, re-sign Bo. Go Canucks Go!
Locke Lamora
I’ll agree with the prevailing sentiment that our D core ain’t the bees knees. But I’d also suggest that if Demko was normal Demko we’d currently be in a playoff position. Something to think about.

jyu
I sense a win. I'll cheer for and celebrate every win but with each win Bedard is going to another team. Conflicting. 2

It’s best just to eliminate the notion of Bedard coming here from your mind entirely. 2 6
