Popular Post OldFaithfulCap
Game info TV: Sportsnet Radio: Sportsnet 650 Overview The tide is turning for the Canucks. A month ago they had but 2 wins and the talk was was focused on trading and how long Bruce would survive. After a recent 3-game road trip, they sit one point out of the playoff race in the West and look ready for any challengers having defeated last year's Champions Colorado and the West's top team in Vegas. The Canucks have players likely to be ready to suit back up, such as Pearson and Studnika but there's a lot of truth in the danger of changing a winning team. We'll see who lines up tonight and who starts in net after Martin got them their big wins. Tonight's opponent Washington is on the start of their western road trip. The Capitals have been a bit like a grumpy old man this year, lots of injuries and fine at home but ranked 30th in the league on the road with only 2 wins. They are not a fast team with Ovechkin's danger coming more from setting up and shooting than with the puck. The Caps won the team's earlier meeting after one of the Canuck's multi-goal lead surrenders but for much of that game the Canucks speed caused them trouble and that was a line-up without Mikheyev and with Stillman and Juulsen in it. Kuemper should start for the Caps as they don't play their next game until Thursday. 3 wins in a row is good so why stop there. Time for a little revenge on the caps and Kuznetsov. Barnstorm
Leave the roster as it was for the last game regardless of who’s available and put Demko in net. He’s ready to get back in his groove. 2

DownUndaCanuck
Washington are 2-7-1 on the road and struggling to score, hope we keep our defence the same alongside Martin and keep them to under 2 goals and we have a good chance to succeed. We're almost guaranteed to score 3-5 goals. 5-2 Canucks 1

Petey Castiglione
The road to .500 and we'll see how badly the boys want it. With the current streak it seems something has clicked and the team is sick of losing. Excited to see if the can get out of a losing record as well.
