I wish Horvat would have stood up for Garland at the end too. Instead he was just hounding the ref, like he was imagining how many goals he could score 5-on-3. We should trade him before he gets injured.

Canucks tank mode is on full blast. Hopefully Demko doesn’t get back too soon or he might throw a wrench in that.

What’d you expect? He was groomed by the Sedins.

i love all 3 of them, but a team doesn’t win by being nice. We need grit, we need a leader.

Sedins are exemplary with their off-season and their community work, as I’m sure Bo is.

on the ice, we need and have needed since Linden got traded, a true warrior.

Nice guys finish last in sports.
You don’t get cups by asking politely.
When there is someone willing to knock you out to win, you better have the mentality to start punching back, or you will find yourself on your ass, while the other team does laps with the cup.

The Canucks have had the same mentality for so long, and we have been losers the whole time.

Very curious comment. If Hughes is pouring shade on management, he may find himself taking OEL’s spot in the press box next.

Sounds like it's shade at the medical staff.

If they did that he'd probably just ask for a trade which would put a torch to the seats that management sit on.

Yup, prime example is the team across the ice today.

Tampa punches first, asks questions later.  Meanwhile we have the most docile group in the league.
