kloubek Posted February 20, 2023 Share Posted February 20, 2023 Seems like a prudent move, given the uncertainty of when Demko will return, or if he's even capable of playing solid minutes without reinjuring himself. Players who are claimed off waivers must be offered to the other teams that placed an original claim before that player can be traded. Arizona was #2 in the waiver order (behind montreal) When they took him in October . If they decided to trade Ingram, he would first have to be passed on by the other teams that put in a claim (decent chance there was at least one seeing as there was 29 other teams below) .
