Shots have been double for the Devils. It’s not a hot goalie. It’s once star players showing their age as they go up against younger, faster guys. The Ragadoodles are done. Once stars are old. Young high picks supposed to replace those old guys suck pucks. They are in for a serious nose dive.

Glad to see these old Rangers get whooped by the young kids, I'm rooting for NJD a bit - got the two Hughes, lots of good defencemen, a team which has been built really well from drafting and trading at the right time. They didn't really have a star goalie but are proving they can win in many different ways now. 3 in a row after a disaster first two games, what a series. I'm sure NYR will tie this up but it'd be nice to see the kids destroy them, what an embarassing way to bow out of the playoffs after all the efforts they made at the deadline. If the Rangers don't make it there'll surely be some massive moves to that team, they just can't get past the hump.

 

Meanwhile NJD barely have a PPG scorer, Mercer just made it but everyone else is under 3 points in 5 games so far which is insane. Defence wins championships though like Hamilton and Marino, not flashy old wingers like Kane and Tarasenko...
