He put up some very strong defensive metrics with lowest number of offensive zone starts in the entire league. Also on pace for 10 goals his last season. One of the few guys in the Canucks that year to keep his head above water (most guys were bleeding chances on the ice). One of our better 4th liners - I think he could have been developed into a very good 4th line player like Jay Beagle in his prime but Green didn’t like how his game wasn’t “high tempo”. 3 points, 6 hits, +3 and 67% in the circle over his last 3 game call up and never saw another game.
