Alright, which player would you give Danny's "A" to? Folks seem to think Bo's a lock for the captaincy so I'd be curious to hear what you guys think. Will somebody brought in get it? Will they rotate it? What do you think?

@Undrafted He's calming, no doubt, but I'm not sure I see Tanev as the guy people look to for guidance much. Edler is a calming influence, but he also clearly directs and leads the d-corps more directly that Tanev. Tanev indirectly leads them by example and so does Edler, but Eddie just has a bit more of a vocal presence and experience.

@-AJ- I dunno. When I hear people say Tanev is a 'calming influence', that says to me that he's the guy who keeps the rest of the D on even-keel--that sounds like providing guidance to me. Also heard that Tanev is far less quiet on the ice, compared to with the media.

Personally, I don't think people who call radio shows or tweet are representative of the fanbase at all. I mean, those are pleased about the Benning extension aren't going to bother calling in, nor are they likely to post angry tweets. It's no secret that on any topic, negative angry people post far more frequently and with more vitriol

I tend to pay more attention to posters that have balance and a level of maturity, I read that your contemplating volunteering , go for it! i'm going for a self management volunteer leader program, 'living with physical pain' I have rhumetiod arthritis but am very active with excersize ,mountain biking, prior to going on disability I volunteered to the salvation armys Christmas kettle drive , that was a learning experience , a good one. the giving of ones time doesn't always have to be about money. totally looking forward to helping or giving advice to others that cant cope with their pain.
