@Twilight Sparkle Not sure that I have. Had a friend who was SOOO into Yes and I was a bit of a .... no. So I didn't delve in too much.
OMG @Heretic Don't even get me started on Inagadadavidadadaddadafalalalalalaqrstuvwxyz. Another one where they veer off into another time zone. I have ADD....might explain it. -

but the gm said publicly, concurrent with the signing, since the contract did not allow trade restriction clauses in the initial years, that he would not trade wee willie
so i think the laffs would have to change their gm before they could trade willie
or no player will trust that gm ever again
they really boxed themselves in with nylander
and he is not a critical player for them
so i do not know why they did that
very poor strategizing about it in the shanaplan

Actually they must have had this outcome in the back of their minds Jimmy. Look at how his contract is structured. Heavily front-end loaded. Can offload a high cap hit (but fairly low salary in comparison) after that $10,000,000 bonus payout next season (I think). Reason by Eriksson *might* be unloadable to a lesser extent for the same reason.

if we had won just two more games in that losing stretch we'd be solidly in the last wildcard spot. Thats a bit hard to take, but it is what it is. We all hoped at training camp for a bubble playoff team, and thats what we've got. We'll probably get fun hockey to watch right down to the last week of the season, maybe a little further.
