Angry Goose
Sestito is huge and swings for the fences.Thats ok in my books.
GoaltenderInterference
I still think Sestito looks similar to Hordichuk...
Avicii
Both plugs that will never accomplish what the Bruins 4th liners can do.. Which is score.
JasetheCanuck
as if anyone expects him to score goals. he's brought in to bring energy (not just to RA but to the team), hit hard and fight.. couldn't be more simple than that.
MattJVD
Well he looks like a mobster. I kinda like that in a 4th liner.

elvis15
The difference is Tom Sestito is 6'5" and 228 pounds versus 6'1" and 212 pounds. He can hit to hurt. In his two seasons in Vancouver, Hordichuk averaged 5:31 and 6:01. Sestito is averaging 6:30. Sestito can actually tangle with the heavyweights in the league and doesn't put his head down and throw punches wildly. He also actually has some offensive upside (based on the fact he scored 42 goals in 2006-07 in the OHL). Hordichuk never had more than six goals in junior. cdubuya
I've actually been pretty impressed with Sestito. Him, Weiss and Schroeder had a few good chances when they played together. He also has laid some big hits including one memorable one where he had the puck, bowled someone over, and retained possession. I've found he's been laying some huge hits consistently. I hope we keep him.
Karlsson`s Flo
What were you honestly expecting out of Sestito? He wasn't brought in here to score. We have lots of guys whose jobs are to score. His role is to bring energy and physicality. That's why he's on our 4th line.
needtogetswole
he doesn't just rub the guy out against the boards or just simply hit him... the guy goes flying.. the guy feels it.. and the next time he'll have his head up... this thread is a joke. canucklehead44
Sestito actually has decent hands. 32 points in 46 AHL games, 42 goals in 60 OHL games. Heck as an 18 year old he scored 15 more goals than James Neal on the same team. Sestito is also 6'5. And he is 25 years old. He skates fairly well and isn't a defensive liability. While he isn't the toughest guy he can hold his own. Only in Vancouver could we complain about picking up such a player for close to league minimum without giving up any assets. Bodee
How are these 2 players any different? Both are fighters who get miniscule minutes and score once in a blue moon. The Hordichuk experiment was a failure and it's obvious Sestito hasn't worked out here hence the reason Flyers waived him. Name me some dissimilarities because quite honestly I can't name one! Scottish⑦Canuck
I don't know what people are expecting of him. He's a 4th liner. He's been solid defensively and has answered the bell a few times, while delivering a few solid hits. You can't really ask of a lot more.
Salmonberries
He's done a decent job for us here if you ask me. He's been a useful guy to have around.

TOMapleLaughs
Honestly... Who cares? Volpatti, Hordichuk, Sestito. Yup, they're all interchangeable plugs. Derp.
