Warhippy
There's no chance Burke comes back. He stays in Calgary and robs Nonis by trading that Calgary pick for the Toronto pick(s) ++ Benning should be the guy

chickenman92
Scott Howson should definitely be a candidate IMHO He is a very intelligent GM I'm not sure he fits with the,"Someone from a winning organization", part of what Linden is looking for. morrissex95
I'm not sure he fits with the,"Someone from a winning organization", part of what Linden is looking for. Trev will pick the best candidate for this position. He's giving the media a bit of fodder right now. What exactly does "winning organization" mean? People need to understand that Trev doesn't just need a good GM, he needs a guy that's going to stay subordinate to him in the hockey ops structure. The last thing we want here is something resembling a Lafontaine/Murray fiasco. Benning is a great candidate, but he's not going to be available until after the draft according to news outlets. Unless we can get the B's to change their stance on that a little bit, we're not going to be able to get him over here. What other candidates are there from so-called "winning organization" and what is your definition of a winning organization?
