If only all Canadian cities NHL clubs had what Montreal and Quebec hockey fans had in the past with that old rule about getting automatic dibs on the best players from their own province. Could be payback for our weaker dollar plus the fact we supply the majority of players to the league. eh? eh? Plum Posted January 6, 2015 Share Posted January 6, 2015 Amazing game, Russians made it close and a nail biter. Definitely a game that will go down to one of the best in WJC history with 2009, 2011, 2005 and some other ones. Canada played really well, Nurse was risky in the tournament but today he was tough, hard to play against and made great decisions with the puck. Russians played well, I think their defence would be more effective if they were more mobile but they still gave a great match. You could see how they were playing together as a team in the defensive zone in the 3rd, passes were nice and crisp. The pressure was on them and they could feel it through out the whole game.
