The young guns are not the answer. Worse than all that is willie is a crap coach.Except he made the playoffs with a crappier roster than the one Torts crapped the bed with...Another fickle bone headed arm chair coach. Agreed, its a bit early to be panicking.But Willie needs to start adjusting and blowing leads is as much a coaching/system thing as it is the players, so both sides need to address that. The answer is likely just not shortening the bench in the 3rd and he needs to start trusting some youth in OT. We've lost 4 in OT already and blown leads to get there, this should be telling him his strategy needs to be adjusted.We also need to find an identity. This team doesn't seem to have one yet, and again, that comes from coaching, from ensuring every player is involved and feels a part of the team, I can't say Willie has helped in that manner yet. I wouldn't go that far.Torts was the only short term coach in a long time, and he deserved to get canned.Fans are just frustrated because Willie isn;t a rookie coach in this league anymore. He can't keep sticking to a strategy that has been proven to fail. You roll four lines for better or for worse. It does the team no good to shorten the bench when every extra second of rest benefits the entire team. Especially when the other team is coming at them hard.Crow's WCE Canucks woud be such a good 3-on-3 team, barring Jovo not being a bonehead under pressure.Naslund - Bertuzzi - JovoCooke - Morrison - SaloLinden - Letowski - Ohlund So much speed there outside of Bertuzzi. Pete M Posted October 30, 2015 Share Posted October 30, 2015 Good game...I thought we had it in the third with the 3-1 lead; I believe this is WD gutting the confidence out of half the team in the previous games...Not rolling 4 lines, when rolling 4 lines is what got you there...WD needs to learn how to grow confidence in the young players rather than suck the confidence from them by not playing them.The vets have already shown WD what they can do...it is time to see what the kids can do...win, lose or draw. They worry about McCann not being able to handle the physicality of the NHL game, well 3 on 3 is hardly physical.Baertschi has to be trusted 3 on 3...its friggen shinny on a lake for @#$# sakes..Wake up willy numbnuts...
