Popular Post Mathew Barzal
C/LW | 5'11" | 176 lbs Shoots | Left Born | 1997-12-20 Birthplace | Östersund, SWE Draft | 2016 Round 2 #32 Overall by Ottawa Senators Jonathan Dahlen Center -- shoots LBorn Dec 20 1997 [19 yrs. ago] Height 5.11 -- Weight 176[180 cm/80 kg] Drafted by Ottawa Senators - round 2 #42 overall 2016 NHL Entry Draft A playmaking center. My craving for one of these is now appeased. Props Jimbo! Quote An offensively very skilled player. Dahlén is a good scorer and playmaker and quite shifty with fine technical skills and overall offensive awareness. Furthermore, an agile and creative player with great character. Skating might look suspicious at times, in some ways quite comparable to father Ulf's, but he reaches good speed and and has impressive edge work. Good work ethic and a capable two-way player.
-AJ-
Way to be quick on the draw, mate. Looks to be pretty good. I hope to see him in the AHL or the SHL soon. Might be our Sutter replacement one day perhaps?

HomeBrew
So we got a second round prospect in a better year for Burrows... this is a huge win for us! When will he transition to North America?

Ossi Vaananen
Sounds like another year in Sweden and then the AHL. It's better to not rush skilled guys.
Chronic.Canuck
Burrows for basically a high 2016 2nd... what a coup by Benning! Dahlen's been a point per game player at pretty much every level he's played at, with a 0.71 PPG average in the 2nd Swedish men's league over 100 games played (39-32-71), all before he turns 20 this December. AHL eligible as early as next season. Looks like a solid scoring prospect! http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=212368

saucypass
Can't believe this is our return on Burrows! I really wanted to draft this guy and now we have him! This guy has some seriously slick mitts. Great WJC tourney this year as well. Already one of my favorite prospects, great work GMJB. 1

diesel_3
If that's what Burrows can fetch, I'm feeling pretty good about Hansen's return if JB is able to deal him. Remember watching Jonathan Dahlen at the WJC after they mentoned he was Ulf's son, He was impressive!
