[Trade] Strome/Perlini for Schmaltz

Recommended Posts

Interesting trade. I mean, the Coyotes can’t develop talent at all, so perhaps it was in Strome’s best interest to leave.

A Strome on the move?  Shocking.

What is surprising is that he is going to one of the few places where his development might actually be taken seriously and he might progress in to something close to his draft status.

good trade for Chicago. I think Strome will turn into a good nhler. Perlini is a bonus also. Both cheap ELC players, schmaltz needed a new deal this summer i believe

On one hand, Arizona at least got something of use for Strome.  On the other hand, they also had to give up Perlini to do so.  Chicago gains some cap space

Both Strome brothers traded within two weeks of each other? Wow. They're almost as overrated as the Reinhart Brothers. Just could never put it all together.

Blackhawks could be big winners if they can get Dylan Strome to put it together sort of like how Max Domi put it together in Montreal after being dealt. However, I also don't hate it for Arizona. Nick Schmaltz reunites with former teammates Vinny Hinostroza and Niklas Hjalmarsson. The Coyotes just need to develop some chemistry. They aren't that bad on paper. I honestly feel bad for that team. I want them to be better... and they're in the Canucks division!

Wow, imagine Dylan Strome figuring it out in Chicago ffs...

Schmaltz and Keller could be really deadly

Fleeing the barren region of the NHL is good for your career just ask Max Domi.

Chicago wins!
