My guess is that since it was a dump in and the puck was so far away from the hit, they made that call. Or the result of the hit was the factor in the ref's eyes. Podkolzin played on the same line with Marchenko and Savunov, which could be the one for the next world junior championship. Marchenko with goal, Podkolzin with assist. Aside from the obvious contestants like Kravtsov, Denisenko & Podkolzin, guys like Romanov & Marchenko jump off the page as well. edit: Romanov's looking like he's going to be an absolute stud.
