    So, if Burr had 12 goals at this point of the season, instead of just 2 (he should have at least 12 based on his play), the Canucks would be 20th in GF instead of 28th. 20th in GF still sucks, but an extra 10 goals is the difference between the team finishing 9th in the West and solidly locking down a 7 seed.

    Can you imagine all the sweet young pieces the Canucks would get from moving Kesler and Edler? Those two moves, if played correctly, could cut a decade long decline into a 12 month rebuild.

      As much as it'd hurt to see Kes go, for the right price and a deal we just can't say no to, I agree. Get the right value and assets in return, a new team will be made and we'll become a powerhouse in 2-3 years max! ..What's not to like about that?!

      Nailed it. Despite how amazing of a return Kes would get it would just sting to see him traded. If we trade Edler as well for value, finish in the season with a top 10 pick although unlikely, sign 1 or 2 big name FA's and we're right back on track
