I think the better way to put it, is he is 7th in scoring for the entire pacific division (might have changed after today), and the Canucks MVP, and sole reason they are even close to a playoff spot. Sedins sure aren't the reason. 

Manditory 1 player per team, or not, why would he not be an all-star on the Pacific division team?

Danny, Loui, Sven shouldn't be moving, and Rodin hasn't really had a chance to show himself at this top level, so maybe a deadline move for one of these expansion-eligible guys?

I'd like to see Boucher get a shot. Scratch Megna for a game and see what the kids got! The Sedin's could use a shooter on their line, and if WD insists on playing Megna with them over Eriksson, why not give Boucher a shot. Couldn't be any worse than the Sedins-Megna experiment.

The last time we picked someone up was on February 12, 2015 at 9:45pm. It was first tweeted by @renlavoietva.

There was a total 327 replies on the CDC thread for picking up McMillan.

There are currently 178+ replies in 8 hours for the CDC Boucher thread so far.

I'd say this pick up appears to be more meaningful than our last pickup.

Yeah, it was Brandon McMillan.

And before that it was Ryan Stanton.

And before that it was Dale Weise.

Two of the three waiver pick ups in the last few years have actually been pretty good. I'm psyched for the Reid Boucher pick up. I think he's an improvement over Jayson Megna, that's for certain. And heck, he's better then Emerson Etem was last year too!

Too early to tell, but you may be onto something saying that. I just hope what @HowYaDrouinsaid above and we draft Nico. Baer and Hischier is a frightening line for oppositions to fear

Add Boeser and our scoring problems could be resolved

Horvat, Boeser, Virtanen, possibly Hischier etc. would be an absolute revelation for us next season

They've only made things worse after a breakthrough in 2011. Taking away couch co op in hut is a dealbreaker. Nhl 04 is still my go to game.

@Sean Monahan There is certain guys other guys like more on the team so if you trade them they loose chemistry. Also if he the team is doing bad they don't have as much chemistry.

@ItsMillerTime I can't get my team above 81-82 despite not having any issues with that. Nobody on the team dislikes anybody and all but 1 guy seem to fit in nicely (oddly enough, it's Stecher that only likes one person on the team). There just doesn't seem to be any concrete way to do it.

Too early to be looking at playoff positioning.

Also too early to freak out about a losing streak.  We weren't as good as a 5 game point streak, we aren't as bad as a 5 game losing streak.  The truth is always somewhere in between.

But, but, people love to panic!

@ItsMillerTime what's annoying, is when people take a fact, and use it in such a way that it somehow invalidates the obvious truth about this team, and the critical subjects being spoken about. This isn't new behavior, it's an extension of the poor play and coaching from last season.

@Wilbur Further to my previous comment, this season so far has been a mix of blind luck, and same old form from last season. The first 4 games of this season had more luck and bounces go the Canucks way than the past 3 seasons combined.

This isn't about panicking, it's about being critical of trying to continually patch up a wound which obviously necessitates amputation.

The only way to shake things up right now, is to make a change in coaching. Something WD is doing isn't working, last year they blamed injuries, this year they are relatively healthy with exception to a few bottom 6 forwards and the same thing is repeating itself.

WD refuses to rely less on the Sedins and more on the young guys. If we wait for WD's game plan to have the young guys "earn it" another season will be down the drain. Last game we saw the first little bit of Baertschi - Horvat - Virtanen starting to push the pace of play.

I'm about to post 6 new threads. It's all stuff that could easily be discussed in existing topics, but my ideas are just so so tremendous.
