Canucks fans make me puke. Bunch of keyboard warriors who think they know more than guys who spend every waking moment analyzing these players.
I bet you anything within 5 years half this thread will be rocking Elias Pettersson jerseys.
This kid is special. We just got a AMAZINGLY talented kid.

3.2 magnitude earthquake strikes san juan islands/Victoria area
https://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/eventpage/uw61366651#map
-
I always thought this was the case however:
Small earthquakes keep big ones from happening. Each magnitude level represents about 31.6 times more energy released. It takes 32 magnitude 3s to equal the energy released in a magnitude 4, 1,000 magnitude 3s to equal a magnitude 5 … and a billion magnitude 3s to equal a single magnitude 9. So while a small quake may temporarily ease stress on a fault line, it does not prevent a large temblor.

Anyone know any places where you can get a cheaper CCM vintage 1995 red/black Canucks jersey on the black friday sale? I found this but I don't know if this site is legit

Canucks now have lost 12 of their last 14 games, haven't won a game all year. I wasn't able to see the 5-2 win vs Chicago so I haven't watched a win since December 15th and that was an overtime win against sharks. Last regulation win I saw was 3-0 vs Hurricanes December 5th..
Also Royals lose 9-4

Oh that reminds me, I'm looking at the NHL app on my Roku, and planning out my Hockey for this evening. There's Montreal and Colorado, and then there's the Leafs and Boston. One team is super exciting, and the other game - Boston and the Leafs, umm, well, not exciting. I really like the Canucks and Montreal. Those are the only two teams in the NHL I like. The other 29 teams, not so good.

Don't worry, there is hope ahead for this Canucks team.

I didn't know you could view the reactions in CDC you've given and received in stats form.

I have been wondering this for years, what does the announcer say at the beginning? "_____ has the puck here" sounds like Rotim or Rotein or something.. I looked on the rosters of each team and didn't see anyone with a name close to it. Anyone know what he says?

I just successfully updated my GDT archive thread to make it fully up to date! there were some challenging links to find, but it's done! My next task will be to start adding some GDT's from before 2017-18. I will see how far back I can go!

@StealthNuck thank you so much for featuring my thread! means a lot.

I posted this in the Victoria Royals thread, but I thought i'd make a status post since not many people visit the thread.
I heard about this in Saturday's game.
After getting a standing ovation from the Victoria Royals fans prior to the game, Portland's Joel Hofer refused to come out and salute the fans when he was named second star in Friday's game, because apparently he didn't like the overtime goal the Royals scored. Not very good sportsmanship from Joel Hofer, he lost a lot of respect from Victoria. When the opposing team's fans give you a standing ovation for a tremendous accomplishment, the least you can do is salute them after the game when you are named a star.
