      All in all, each service still tries to force you to have cable, which then forces most people to choose other means of watching local hockey.

       

      My out of market preference is still Center Ice though.

      I tried the VPN thing a while back and kinda got frustrated with having to get new codes ... gave up. Haven't looked at it in a while, heard there's services, but.

      I think so. Therrien and Beregevin have never been enamoured by Subban and I don't think his teammates are huge fans either.

       

      I don't think a trade is likely but I expect Montreal will listen. If someone meets their high asking price they will pull the trigger. I think the Oilers are probably the only team that have the motivation as well as the assets to make something work.

      I just heard John Shannon (650 radio hockey insider) saying the top minute guys on the Flames - not Giordano - are Point hounds, who sacrifice their defensive responsibilities to get points.  He mentioned Monaghan and Gudreau as two young guys who behave like they’re entitled.

      I'm cool with any of Dahlin, Svechnikov, Zadina, Tkachuk, Bouchard, or Boqvist.  As long as we don't finish higher than 3rd last (unlikely without Brockstar), we're guaranteed a crack at one of those guys.
