-Vintage Canuck-
Snow way! Vancouver could get hit with some flurries on Friday: Quote Enjoy your moment in the sun because rain and possibly snow are on the way. Environment Canada says Metro Vancouver can expect mainly sunny skies Tuesday but trick or treaters would be wise to keep an umbrella handy later in the day as there is 40 per cent chance of showers tomorrow night. The showers will turn to rain on Wednesday and we can expect soggy conditions for the rest of the week. Temperatures are expected to drop down to around freezing later this week which could mean snowfall for parts of the Lower Mainland on Friday night and Saturday morning. http://theprovince.com/news/local-news/vancouver-could-get-hit-with-some-snow-on-friday/wcm/dabac046-8930-47b5-9d4c-9b90e6dc8ff0
-AJ-
I think there's a chance for similar weather in Abbotsford. Could get as low as -3 at night from what I'm reading. Crazy though, as I'm writing this in a sunny day over 16 degrees. How fast the weather changes sometimes.

-Vintage Canuck-
More snow on the way for Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island: Quote VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Brace yourselves… another blast of snow is headed our way. Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the entire South Coast and Vancouver Island, as an area of low pressure moves into the arctic air which is now parked over the region. This should only bring about two centimetres of snow to Metro Vancouver later today, but parts of Vancouver Island could get 10 centimetres. There is now a backcountry closure in effect for Lynn Headwaters Regional Park because of snow, ice and avalanche risk. http://www.news1130.com/2017/11/04/more-snow-on-the-way/

-Vintage Canuck-
Special weather statement: Quote Special weather statement in effect for: City of Vancouver - including Burnaby and New Westminster Metro Vancouver - northeast including Coquitlam and Maple Ridge Metro Vancouver - southeast including Surrey and Langley Metro Vancouver - southwest including Richmond and Delta North Shore - including West Vancouver and North Vancouver A mix of rain and snow on the way... A slow-moving cold front will approach the South Coast Tuesday night. As it nears, outflow winds will intensify through the Fraser Valley and Howe Sound. Bands of moisture will also accompany the front and with cold air in place, many areas could see snow or mixed rain and snow. Current forecasts indicate that a weak band of precipitation will arrive over the South Coast early Wednesday morning followed by a more intense band later Wednesday afternoon or evening. There remains considerable uncertainty regarding the timing of the precipitation and the likelihood of snow. Higher elevation locales and areas exposed to outflow winds including East Vancouver Island are most likely to see snowfall accumulations. Stay tuned to the latest forecasts and alerts as details will become clearer with the approach of the storm. Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
