Found this article, and thought it was an interesting read. Sounds like he is trying to have as much fun as he can now. That's wonderful that he is attracting a crowd as well. I hope he's back again this year.

You can tell the season is a changing when:

  • You have to use a down quilt at night because it's getting damn cold.
  • All the leaves falling plug up the street sewers creating lakes that spray unsuspecting pedestrians with each passing car.
  • clutch's "Burrows? Do we really need him?" thread is back in it's rightful place on the first page.

I think we'll be seeing a lot of this thread this season.

So let's all just sit back and bask in this threads' awesome goodness.

Looking forward to watching the Burr in Canuck colours this season. So happy that he did not get bought out. Sorry haters, you'll have to watch one more season of our consummate Canuck, the hardest worker, gritty, top hockey smarts, willing to take all kinds of abuse in front of the net, someone who stands up for team mates, someone who is respected by all the rookies, and will never grumble about what role or what line he is stuck on. Deal with it.

You must be drunk

Why because i see Burrows as  a guy that contributed next to nothing to our club last season and single handedly with his poor sportsmanship turned the refs in the league against our club.

Come on people. We have one year to get this thread to 500 pages. Will that be a record here?

Piece of cake bud.

Honestly though, 454 pages based on a guy who was never even drafted and ended up with 4 25+ goal seasons and an A on his sweater. Played his way through garbage hockey leagues, riding buses for a pittance, and working his ass off to make it to the show. Love him or hate him, he's a story of determination and will, and I for one will be damn proud to watch him retire in Canucks colours.
