messier's_elbow Posted March 24, 2015 Share Posted March 24, 2015 Shinkaruk is coming along good in his development from what I gather. To me there is no surprise to see him getting a little hot coming to the end of the season. All of his other aspects have been progressing quietly over time, now he gets some confidence pumped in and off he goes. Another solid year for Utica is going to do him really well. Still a top 5 prospect for me. Love to see the quality of his goals too, a nice back hand in close and a top shelf snipe for the other. Honestly this projection he is currently on is pretty predictable. Coming off major surgery and going to a mens league, he was going to struggle a tad at first. He's already doing better than Jensen did in his first combined 65+ AHL games. I think he can get to 15 goals and 15 assists by the end of the season if he stays hot.
