BanTSN
Yet again You wanted to trade multiple picks/prospects for Reinhart because he "was a sure thing" just want to point that out He must've accused Reinhart of being better than a totally unproven prospect or something. hockeyville88
Man what a day! I'm tired just from following and analyzing. Can't imagine how the draftees must feel Congrats to all and best of luck to the yet-to-be draftees

oldnews
and even though he's a playmaker, Kass can score too I agree, but I don't really consider Kassian to be a prospect any more.
Smashian Kassian
They also have Jensen, Shinkaruk and now Virtanen - three young wingers that can put the puck in the net; Only 3, vs 4 center man and few D. Too much wealth in the middle IMO, and its not like any of them are really all that valuable right now past being decent pieces in package deals even if we did want to trade any of them. (Besides Horvat who we shouldn't traded) Just would have preferred Scherbak seems like he will develop into a great player, perfect for the West, or even Barbashev if we were going to go with a center. After today's Benning bonanza, i'm quite alright with a calm draft. Just too much to take otherwise.
Salmonberries
Lat year TSN had complete coverage of rounds 2-7 on the Saturday. Just checking the listings it looks like Wimbledon on TSN and TSN 2. WTF? Glad for hockey to be moving on the Sportsnet next year if that's gonna be the case.

viking mama
Ho-Sang and Dal Colle. What a draft for the Isles!! LOL. Yup. Sucky entitled attitudes, rudeness, & in Ho-sang's case some killer arrogance...who's gonna cut those 2 down to size and mold 'em into team-players on & off of the ice....Taveres? Clutterbuck? Or perhaps ...the citizens of New York?
Smashian Kassian
Barbashev is a LW. He's listed as C. But if he's a LW, then great, we passed on another winger who could have really helped us.
Junkyard Dog
Yet again You wanted to trade multiple picks/prospects for Reinhart because he "was a sure thing" just want to point that out I was open to it as well as keeping the picks but I never committed to anything. 2nd overalls usually turn out be great players and there was a definite top 5 whereas in this draft 6-15 was open to anyone going anywhere. BanTSN also called Virtanen an all-star power forward. Do you support that accusation? Virtanen will be a good player but that is an idiotic accusation.
