Bure to Mogilny
Ron mclean just inter viewing wayne gretzky right now and gretzky the great one said behind crosby and toews is kopitar as the third best player in the league! Wow I figure maybe weber has to be in that convo but is the great one right?
Jiggs50
Yeah an argument can be made. Malkin, Stamkos and Ovechkin might have something to say though...
Bure010
as it stands right now at this moment I would put Toews over Crosby as #
-Stammer-
naw i'm saying Stamkos
Gross-Misconduct
Ron mclean just inter viewing wayne gretzky right now and gretzky the great one said behind crosby and toews is kopitar as the third best player in the league! Wow I figure maybe weber has to be in that convo but is the great one right? Hard to argue with the Great One. I don't consider Weber top 3. Maybe top 10. I prefer Doughty over Weber. Weber has the cannon shot but Doughty does everything well.
Kazmanian Devil
Remember when it was between Ovechkin and Crosby for #1? Ovechkin is barely top 10 now.
Robongo
He's only a smidge below Toews, so I'd have to agree with The Great One. Doughty is up there when the games count as well, unbelievable player.
hockeyville88
It's a pretty subjective statement. I feel like there are a lot of players jockeying for the 3-5 spots in terms of best in the NHL. But yeah, Kopitar would be in the hunt for sure
canucks155
My top forwards: 1. Toews 2. Crosby 3. Stamkos 4. Kopitar 5. Malkin/Giroux
-AJ-
I'd say Ovie or Stamkos could challenge that. Heck, even Lundqvist could challenge that with the way he's been playing.
Baka
Ovechkin lol. Aka don't even skate down the ice and pretend to play defense then take 90% of your lines shots.
Jai604
Not a chance in hell Ovechkin gets a sniff at the top 5 simply because he isn't a complete player. Kopitar is amazing. He does everything. If you're going to build a new team and you have the first pick, who do you pick? Those are the guys worthy of being in the top 5-6. Those guys are probably a mixture of the following names: Crosby, Toews, Kopitar, Doughty, Weber, Stamkos
CanuckGAME
If we picked Kopitar we would have won the cup in 2011. that would have been the difference for us.
Pears
IMO: T-1st) Crosby, Toews 3) Stamkos 4) Malkin 5) Weber
Master Mind
How is everyone forgetting Datsyuk? When he's healthy he's easily in the top 3. Kopitar is a great player, but I wouldn't even consider him top 10, let alone top 3. People were saying Krejci was also a top player in the league last year. Just because a player is leading the playoffs in scoring, it doesn't mean he's better than all the superstars that aren't in the playoffs.

Captain Aerosex
Still in disbelief at the amount of people who think Toews is the best player in the league. He's on the same level as Bergeron, Kopitar. Pretty sure Mike Milbury even said he was the best Blackhawk of all time. Dem intangibles I guess.
Caboose
Jagr said Nichushkin will be the best player in the league and everyone here called me a troll for posting it.
