Power Fist
In the 2014 season. New Coach New direction. Who will be the most improved existing Canuck in 2014/2015 over production 2013, and why? I'll take the easy lame route because I know the analytical die hards on CDC know better. Sedins. They will both flourish again with less ice time more purposeful direction to be PP specialist and more even game time play for the other four lines. THAT alone makes them better for the whole season not to mention a new linemate possibility although Burrows is still in the mix for me. Plum
Burrows, I think he'll bounce back and put up 45-50 points while shutting down other stars. Playing with Bonino and Kassian will be a hell of a line in all ways.
JeremyCuddles
Edler. His numbers were trash and we really need him to move forward. I am one of his biggest nay sayers but if he gets back to form we have a real good shot at the Playoffs.
SergioMomesso
I'm going with Alex Edler. Hopefully the coaching staff brings a new look on the PP. A successful pp starts at the point. And by the looks of the current roster. Edler is going to be the QB on the pp. The PP lost us way too many one goal games last year.
Knucklehd
Elder, with a strong communicator for a coach and someone who is accustomed to drawing the best out of his players. I think Edler will thrive under WD! Close second is Burr

I agree I also think trying to put the Sedins on PK drained their creative energy to feed the puck to the Point the way they usually do. I just didn't see the creativity we would expect from those two and I don't think it's age.
TimberWolf
Not so much improved but I think Kassian will be relied heavily upon to be a key part of the offense and he wont dissapoint. I'd say Edler will improve as well but there really is nowhere else to go but up for him lately.
Rex425
hmm.... The Sedins. After lots of good seasons, they had one bad year. With Vrbata, a better coach for them, and Powerplay, I predict they will have 65-75 points. edit: not bad, off-year.
surtur
The sedins will improve on last season but not set any season highs (could happen though). Burr will bounce back but not hit any new records also could happen) Elder could bounce back.(I am sure he will) Kassian could have a huge year (people will be crying in the streets that we only pay him 1.75 per year) Miller make it or break it for him imo. Should have a solid year.
Gyllenhaal
I think the Sedins will be able to bounce back, but the most improved will be Kassian. He's ready for a top 6 role and should put up over 40 points.
canucks155
EVERYBODY! Torts made everybody have a bad year and for almost every player, it's not going to be hard to be better than last year...
sinphase
The Sedins, they know that their the face of the franchise, the responsibility that comes with that, and their current reputation and future legacy depends on how they comeback from last season. oldnews
Edler was misused - he's not a shutdown defenseman, he shouldn't be playing the biggest, hardest minutes on the blueline - he is a situational defenseman who requires the right partner imo. Hansen was underused - when the Sedins are killing more penalties than Hansen, that is underutilization. Hansen will do much better without Tortorella breaking his balls. He also suffered a couple shoulder injuries that hampered his season, but if Hansen can be Hansen, the team has a guy that you win with. Hamhuis - see Hansen. Things levelled out somewhat for Hamhuis by the second half of the season, but Tortorella's truly odd take on the roster cost Hamhuis a horrible start, but thankfully not his Olympic spot entirely. Thankfully Yzerman et al are far more astute. The Sedins were overused - they are not Swiss Army knives. They are elite situational players. Play them to their strengths and stop trying to convert them into two way, all situation players. It's a waste of their energy and a clear case of outsmarting oneself. Burrows - was snakebitten and injury ridden, with the exception of a few weeks when the monkey fell off his back. He'll be back with something to prove and the work ethic to prove it with. A fresh start with an entirely new level of hockey intelligence, enthusiasm, and common sense throughout will go a long way.
Ghostsof1915
Fox, Gaunce, Shinkaruk, and Horvat all are so good at training camp, the team is forced to play them in the NHL. Benning has to make a series of trades to make room for them. Hey, but one can dream right?

CanucksSayEh
Burrows, by far. He had the worst possible season, but has always been very consistent, and just a great player.Doubt Edler will improve much, if at all, he's just bad. Has been for years. CanuckFanForever1123
Biased: Hansen. He was misused and injured last season. I think he bounces back in a big way. 18 goals and 27 assists for my boy. Realistic: Burrows. Should be easy for a guy with a career high of 67 points to surpass a 15 point campaign from last year.
William_Clarkson
Sedins & Edler are most important. Also, hopefully Kassian has a major breakout year and raises his consistency.
R3aL
The whole team will bounce back. The sedins will shut all The negative "fans" up, the oh they are done, they were never stars anyways, they are old etc etc Burrows will definetly have a stronger year, he may not score 30 and put up 60 pts but 20 goals and 40/50 pts should be realistic And edler there is no chance he will be - a million again
