Herberts Vasiljevs
Jensen looked good too. Corrado started to look more comfortable further into the game.

FireGillis
This game just showed us that we need a top defenseman. Real bad. Well unless we can draft noah hanifin, who is projected to go 3rd overall, I would rather draft a centre with next year's pick. I'm hoping for a top 5 pick or close to it. JiffyPB
Pfft did you hear the annoncer? He kept saying 3 on 3, 3 on 3, 3 on 3. No, I muted it after I nearly blew out an eardrum again
Rollieo Del Fuego
Blow the Whistle...back to the WHL. 7th round D Stewart and Humphries looked plenty shaky, we need a few more forwards. Still that first powerplay Horvat set up Jensen point blank on a cold goalie...should have been in. Fox and one of McCann or Virtanen and we may have dominated. prana16
This is why I'm in favour of tanking this year. Outside of shinkaruk, I don't think we have any true high end offensive prospects. The 2015 draft is stacked and we can find a superstar in it with a top 5 pick or so. Jensen has all the tools speed, shot, size, skating.. just has to put them together
DeNiro
the goaltenders playing for us are not Canuck prospects right? Nope. That's the thing about this tournament. Quite a few of our best players aren't even in it. That's why our goaltending and D looks so weak. Corrado playing average didn't help either,
Canucks1219
You know regardless of this crapty start to the prospect tourney, I was thinking that we need a major change in our draft strategy. This safe 2 way forward crap isn't getting us anywhere. The only prospect we have that looks any decent right now is vey (who we didn't draft) and shinkaruk (skill forward). Horvat looks like he has digressed. He looks to be the next Manny malhotra. Gaunce is a projected 3rd line center because of his lack of creativity and skating. McCann who the he'll knows because he can't keep his tongue in his own mouth. Regardless he's ceiling is a 2nd line 2 way center. Very troubling. How has Horvat regressed coming off of his best statistical season in the OHL?

Jack Fig
well they should before he bolts for the Oilers.Let's remember something about Valk...he's small, went undrafted and at 21 1/2, is older than both Corrado and Jensen. He's out there in this tournament playing against many guys who are 2 and 3 years younger than himself. That he's standing out a little isn't as surprising as many people think, largely due to his age.
DeNiro
And people saying Horvats not our top prospect need to give their head a shake. Everything in this tournament should be taken with a grain of salt. People always jump the gun on players after two games. The real test doesn't begin until training camp. This is just a warmup. Soren5556
Shink and Jensen played great games today. Though I echo what a lot of people said in saying Horvat needs to show up a little more but this tournament really doesn't mean all that much. Brad Marchand
How has Horvat regressed coming off of his best statistical season in the OHL? Because this is a place where player judgements are made based upon a few meaningless prospect games.

Jack Fig
the goaltenders playing for us are not Canuck prospects right? No, Lotz will the starter for the Everett Silvertips this year and Whistle will be the starter for the Kelowna Rockets. Canucks will likely be tracking both reasonably closely. Lotz is the better of the two, IMO.
