Winner will be announced April 5th. Brisebois is the long shot to win, but still nice that he's a finalist.. Well deserved. Good to hear. Must be doing something right. An invite to the WJC camp and now a nomination for best defenseman. Good progression for a 3rd round pick.

Hortankin
Any chance he meets the Eagles in the next round? Edit: I checked and I think the only possible outcomes is the Eagles playing Ryoun noranda, shawinigan, or blainville. Any prospects to watch on those teams for the upcoming drafts or Canuck prospects? Edited March 30, 2017 by Hortankin

If that's the case, Cape Breton could play Charlottetown, Acadie-Bathurst, or Rouyn-Noranda. If Rouyn-Noranda and Shawinigan both lose, they'll play Charlottetown; if just one of them loses, they'll play Acadie-Bathurst; if they both win they'll play R-N. NameFaker
His progression has progressed further this year than what we expected for his progress. Maybe he will continue to progress? Progress.

elvis15
Progressively progressing on his progression. But seriously, glad to see his improvement, even if he really hasn't shown a lot of offence at any level prior. He'll still probably end up being a low-offence player at the NHL level if he makes it, but we'd like to see something out of him.

He reminds me of a Tanev type, but maybe swapping a bit of defensive shut-down ability for more offensive instinct. Brisebois is a cool prospect. I don't think he'll ever blow anyone's pants off, but having him and Juolevi on our 1st and 2nd pairings (hopefully with some dynamic complimentary partners) is very appealing.
