Fanuck Posted November 20, 2015 Share Posted November 20, 2015 It would be unreasonable for anyone to expect Hutton to last the entire season without fatigue/injury unfortunately. Spending three years playing college hockey lets you get a lot of practice time in but, doesn't get you prepared whatsoever for the season-long grind that is the NHL schedule. This is one of the advantages of the CHL imo - they play an NHL style schedule so these players coming out of Jr have been there/done that. In fact, one could say that the CHL schedule (in the WHL anyway) is worse than the NHL schedule because of the busses and second-class hotel/meals they are constantly enduring - they aint getting first-class airfare and 5star hotels/restaurants in Jr. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
