Popular Post b3.
Defenceman | 6'3" | 198 lbs Shoots | Left Born | 1998-05-05 Draft | 2016 Round 1 #5 Overall by Vancouver Canucks Olli Juolevi Scouting Report: Quote A competitive spark-plug, Olli Juolevi is a complete, all-around defenceman who can hem the opposition in their own end or make things difficult for the opposition at home; either way, he puts the pressure on and lays it on thick. A strong and balanced skater, he can rush the puck through the neutral zone with ease or backcheck with haste. Uses his size to his advantage, but knows his physical limits and plays within them. Instead of playing overly physical, he makes his presence felt by exhibiting his high-end playmaking ability and puck possession play. All-in-all, a well-rounded blueliner who thrives under pressure and can be trusted in all situations. Popular Post MeanSeanBean
Is this ok? I'm so torn. I think I like this. But I'm confused on so many levels right now. Edit: ok, now that it's settled in I'm stoked. Loosing Dubois was really hard, but this kids the real deal. Benning managed to completely turn around our back end, and D wins cups. TheHitman
Time to get wrecked 6-8 times a year for the next decade by Tkachuk and Puljajarvi. Great. 1

Popular Post TheRussianRocket.
Very pleased. Were in a crappy spot with top 4 forwards going. Decided to not take the next forward a tier below and took a dman. Like it. Only thing I have a problem with is maybe not trading down. Pretty sure he wouldn't have been picked for the couple picks. But better safe than sorry. Just would have liked getting a 2nd round pick. mfw cdc mad we got the best dman heading into the draft. He has the skillset we desperately need and lack. Smh at cdc. *NOTE:* Juoelvi is on loan from his Finnish team. So if he decides, he can go straight to the AHL after training camp. ...neat little bonus in getting him. Can play overseas, AHL if they think he's ready, or back to jrs. Edited June 25, 2016 by TheRussianRocket.
