Adarsh Sant
Interesting. Hard to discuss seeing as Vegas only has 2 players but ya could be a good fit.
bloodycanuckleheads
Quote That feeling when Vegas probably has a better 1st line center then the Canucks... They're going to have a better defense than us too! And, by 'defense' there, I actually mean 'roster'...

Kovalchuk - Shipachyov - Guy Should provide LV with enough offense to at least not be a complete joke next year. Also, watch LV win the Stanley Cup next year >_>
Team Bagues
A Russian with tons of cash playing for the Golden Showers in the sin city is a recipe for trouble. Is Voynov on the radar as well?

Even though he has a higher PPG than Kovalchuk does in their time playing together... Format: (Points) / (Games played)=PPG in their 4 seasons together Shipachev (32+54+60+76)/(52+49+54+50)=1.08 Kovalchuk (40+55+49+78)/(45+54+50+60)=1.
-AJ-
In the past, expansion teams have provided big opportunities for guys to step up. Wouldn't be surprised to see a few new star players break out in the league next year for LV.

Deep thoughts here,. But hereing that the KHL is becoming weaker financially and some teams possibly not operating this season,. I wonder how Team Expansion in the NHL affects the KHL? What if, HYPOTHETICALLY.. the NHL expanded 3 new Teams over 3 years.. Let's say that creates 75 new hockey player positions.. Could that not possibly draw 15 -20 decently ranked players out of, or possibly labeled for the KHL? Thats gotta hurt.
Jägermeister
He should be a very effective player in the NHL. This was a great move by Vegas.

Phil_314
Wonder if there's going to be more Russians signing here. K.H.L. can't be in too good of financial shape, and anyone who signs here with any semblance of skill will likely have a top-6 forward or top-4 D (or starting goalie) role, ahead of all the salary cap fodder and over-the-hill veterans who will eat up a lot of cap. Oh and you're talking about Vegas here. They want $$$, they'll have that in spades (and hearts, jacks and clubs).
TheHitman
It seems like McPhee will be looking towards the draft and free agency to build his team rather than the actual expansion draft.
