Popular Post TGT68
Got to see Kole Lind live for the first time tonight. Kole and the Rockets were downed by Victoria 4 to 2 tonight. Kole was prominent all game. Settling up Nolan Foote for three glorious chances before the youngster finally managed to beat the Victoria goalie (outhouse). Kole was held to the one assist. Drew the penalty that netted the second Kelowna goal. Played on either of the first two lines during the game, first PP and on the PK. Had one draw on the PK and won it. And finished the game even in a losing cause. The kid is obviously the best forward on the team. He is the offensive play driver. Has great vision and seemed to thread passes at will. Has a good stick and disrupted a lot of opposition passes. Plays bigger than I expected. Gave better than he got, including an elbow the the head of the Victoria goalie, throwing a player to the ice, being involved in quite a bit of bodily contact and taking a cross check to the face after a whistle and not missing any time. Definitely has nhl size, speed, drive, smarts and talent. Will be fun watching this one develop. 1

The Big Luongo
Wow that shot will help him make the JR team. That snipe was Boeser velocity and great placement not sure a puck could be shot much harder!

The Big Luongo
Any Lind action I've seen he's shown very elite passing skills and lots of grit and if that's how hard and accurate his shot is we just might have another steal like young EP! Popular Post High and Inside
What a great first period by Lind. I live in Kelowna and watch most games and I just happen to be in Moose Jaw for the game tonight. I have seats right on the glass at the top of the circle where Kole sniped from and man is that a laser. Interestingly enough I was sitting in almost identical seats when Lind and the Rockets demolished Portland a few weeks ago and in that game Kole sniped one from the circle too. Kids got an NHL release. I'm extremely excited about his career trajectory right now. 2 1
Odd.
First time seeing since the first two games of the season (both against Kamloops). And man Lind reminds me a lot of Nazem Kadri. Very skilled player and he really gets underneath the opponents skin. Loves to battle and is not afraid to shy away from the physical side of things. Very nice snipe on that goal. he had some very nice crisp tape to tape passes and was very fast out there Going to be a lot of competition next year for spots. Lind, Gaudette, hell even Pettersson. Still 2 periods to go. Edited November 7, 2017 by Odd.
messier's_elbow
Lind was probably the best player on the ice in the first period.

That isn't to say he doesn't have drive, but it's not really one of his top assets. Edited November 7, 2017 by Adarsh Sant
