Fan since 82
Love that he didn't go away and sulk, but used the situation as motivation.
R.Dahlin26
Pretty crazy. 4 games since being cut from team Canada. 3G 4A 1G 3G so far with 8 SOG 2nd rounders are massive. Demko/Lind/Dahlen all from the 2nd round. Lind is a keeper. 1 1

Fanuck
This kid just keeps producing when he's got reasons others would use not to - that's character and commitment. Really looking forward to what he'll do in the playoffs this season. 1

Shiftynifty
Don’t want to pump KL’s tires too much, but this kid has to go top 15 in a re-draft right? Out-scoring Glass and Suzuki with much less help (plays with 2 younger kids in Topping and Foote). 1 1
TGT68
and not just three goals tonight. But all three Rockets goals.

There is a reason people were surprised/mad that Glass and Suzuki were left off Team Canada for World Juniors. Lind didn't get the same reaction

If Lind plays same quality of competition with worse line-mates, while out-scoring both Glass and Suzuki, then it suggests they are atleast similarly skilled. 3

People were shocked a 6th overall and 13th overall was cut from the team. Lind definitely has the same skill level as Glass. Lind's PPG is more impressive. Agreed about position which gives Glass the slight edge. Suzuki is a bit better than both though in terms of pure natural talent IMO. Overall, to get a talent like Lind at pick 33 is huge. Keep your draft picks especially 2nd rounders. No more trading them away, please. Edited December 30, 2017 by R.Dahlin26

SamJamIam
FWIW I think Suzuki is naturally very skilled but many smaller guys are. Hopefully he's large enough but he also plays small which won't help him translate his game. Glass is a solid all-round player and was a safe pick. However Lind plays a hard nosed game and has some real skill which makes him the most tantalizing prospect in my mind.
ruilin96
Can't help but think if he plays on Team Canada instead of Comtois, would we have won the game today? 2
