[PGT] Vancouver Canucks vs. Toronto Maple Leafs

Refs did everything they could to serve this game up on a silver platter for the Laffs.

Every borderline call on the Canucks was called.  Meanwhile Matt Martin gets away with deliberately trying to injure Gudbranson by shoving him into the boards on an icing.

Good game by the Canucks, considering they are still down their two top centers and a #1 Line winger.

Canucks need to get Tryamkin back so the type of crap Martin was pulling gets punished.

Bad luck for Boeser in missing both the OT goal and the shootout.  The reason the OT goal didn't go in was simple velocity... if the shot was a little slower, it would have not had the speed off the initial bounce and would have been in.

Anyway, they got a point... on to Montreal.

But if the shot was slower, Andersen may have gotten it.

Martin is scum. He knew that we were already down a d-man. If Guddy came back and fought him, we would have been down to four for five at least.

So you about edler tonight? You accused me of being "one of those who think edler sucks"

A small gust of wind nicked him down on the first and bozak got 2 quality shots off on the second goal...

No idea. Was spending time with kids, didn't watch the game. Besides one game here or there doesn't mean much. All players have bad games.

Andersen had zero chance on that shot; he didn't even flinch until it was by him, like Price and many others.  When Boeser gets into a shot, it can't even be seen on live TV, only when really slowed down.  Simply beautiful, and on national TV for all to see.  Everyone knows about him yet he still can't be stopped.  He's already in contention as a rookie, but once we get more good young players around him he's going to contend for the Richard every year.  Even Elliot might finally (grudgingly) be on board...

That's what I was wondering.....if it hadn't been so fast would it have gone in ??

As long as the league is run by scum like Bettman and Daly, and the officiating is as absolutely unaccountable and pathetic as it is, it won't matter who is on the team.

First PP unit should be

Sedins

Boeser Goldobin

Pouliot

It's a 1-3-1 formation. Goldobin is scared of contact - he's not going to play the front of the net or the bumper spot.

Markstrom is really f-ing useless.

the goal by Mathews in the SO was like putting a golf ball at mini putt, he just paddles it forward straight down the middle no extra

juice, no spin on the golfball.. I mean beachball.. I mean hockey puck, and she goes straight fycking in right through his legs.

Actually for the amount of shots he faced Markstrom was OK... the problem is the ones he lets in are weak. And he got owned in the shootout.

What are you talking about? Matthews scored a beauty off a cross crease pass that would have been an insane save to make. Markstrom could have controlled his rebound better, but it bounced at a wacky angle and Bozak happened to be Johnny on the spot. Shootouts are gambling..
