I totally agree...... that being said I can't even being to imagine the extra premium they would want to trade him to their provincial rivals. He told me that they are disconnecting 5 properties a day, that works out to approximately 100 or so a month in Burnaby alone. Kucherov I could see creeping above 10 as well if he stays on form - Benn got 9.5 with 89 pts as his best season, Kuch got 100 last year, and benn sgned his contract with a lower cap. Dallas also a low tax state. Yzerman is a wizard though, so you never know. The only place Toronto has a clear advantage is centre depth ( Stammer/Point are both dope, and on or close to the same tier as Matthews Tavares, but Paquette < Kadri....maybe Miller plays 3C?). Tampa has the much better D, though it'll be interesting what happens when half their D go UFA next year. They're mostly ocerpaid anyways. Drive down the streets in my neighbourhood, and you'll see this first hand. I'm lucky enough to have bought in the mid 70's, and survive those high interest rates, all the while earning about $12 per hour. That wasn't that long ago. To build to own in Burnaby you need well into 6 figure or dual incomes into the 6 figure range. Even then....Therein lies the problem.
