Attendance is so poor in Detroit these days that they have covered the red seats in black - it's less visible that the arena is as empty.  Initially they kept on saying that fans were visiting the concourse because there's so many shops/restaurants but no one is buying that excuse anymore.

I was going to say, Jake is about 226 to Guddy’s 217 (at least according to my lazy google search), and hits just as hard if not harder.

Call up Reid Boucher to fill his spot. Canucks by a pair with an empty netter.

 

Boucher was injured on an illegal check to the head last month - 2 game suspension for the culprit.  He injured his leg when he fell and will be out weeks.  

 

They also have Leipsic.  Baer is out and he can't get in the lineup.  If Boeser is also out and he can't get in - at some point they need to make a decision.  In Vegas he played 44 games on 62 possible.  This season he only played in 6 of 15.

Definitely want to see Brock rest until he’s 100%. But I will say last game Brock had the most explosiveness of the season. It’s too bad he injured it again when he looked like last years Calder finalist on Friday.

The seats are empty because the fans are all going to the toilets.  They go during the game so that they don't miss out on watching the Zamboni.
