Hmmmm.....that'd be an absolutely monstrous pick up for the Bolts but how long can they afford this?  Kucherov is going to be getting huge money, Pointe and more will all be due large increases in salary as well.  Yzerman is a stud of a GM but at some point even he will run in to the cap monster

saw this while ago, crazy if true. Buffalo should be keeping him, but I guess if you get Foote plus some other good pieces back in an offer anyone is up for trade. GM isn't doing his job if he doesnt field offers on all his players, doesnt mean he has to seriously conisder them

Yzerman is no longer the GM, Brisebois is.  Can see Bolts moving JT Miller at some point if they had cap issues going forward

Kuch is going to be one of the highest paid players in the league after this year

He already signed 8 yr 76 million dollar deal. 9.5 mill per. Isn't close to Mcdavid's. He probably took less because of the tax in FLA

I'm getting tired of this tax loophole deal for some of these states. Should be addressed in the next CBA imho.

As always, hope we can be in the mix to help someone with cap issues.

We could badly use another Erhoff type deal

On the tax front...

I know it will never happen because the low tax jurisdictions are ones they want to grow the game, but there should be some equalizing formula on the cap ceiling regrading tax rates.

EDIT: See it was pointed out.

Another thing....the Bolts have an insane amount of prospects still....what an insane job Stevie Y did there....   He will be in Detroit eventually...

They need better depth and have cap space next year.

Risto is having a down year on the D side of the puck, isn’t he?  (Minus 25 or something?). Personally, I think he’s your best D man.  He’s got offensive skills, he’s big, and he plays mean.  It would be a HUGE mistake trading him.  Guys with his skill set, who are mean, are very hard to come by.
