they have played about 15% of their 5 on 5 ice time together this year but that was with a smattering of Goldy, Roussel, LE and Granlund.

 

Pearson is a bit 'heavier' than those guys imo and might fit the bill of more of a transition line that's hard to handle as a whole.

 

Virtanen has looked good tonight imo - he has another gear over virtually anyone else on the ice.

Virtanen should just spend every single day working on his hands and shot accuracy. It’s crazy to me with his speed, power and shot velocity that he doesn’t score or pick up more assists.

you should check out the video where he talks about what the team had him working on last offseason.

Jake's puck-handling and puck protection are significantly improved imo - if he can uptick that shooting percentage - something less shutdown and more top 6 minutes could effect - then great - but imo he's right on track.
